It’s certainly not easy to shortlist top ten players in the Barclays Premier League 2014-15 season mainly because they’re so many great competitors. Of course, the list has to be pruned to just ten names so here are the top ten stars you need to keep your eye on.

1. Diego Costa – Chelsea
Blistering play and impressive technique highlights the Spanish striker known as Diego Costa. He undoubtedly is a major attraction when it comes to Chelsea – Costa recently represented Spain in the FIFA world cup. Manager Jose Mourinho was looking for a clinical striker who comes out good and it looks as if he has made the right pick. Diego Costa scored 36 goals for Atletico Madrid last year.

2. Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal
This Chilean adds an extra bit of brilliance to the brilliant Arsenal attack. Moving from Barcelona this year, Sanchez has strong intentions to extend his FIFA World Cup form in one of the most prestigious football leagues in the world. Those of you who missed Sanchez’s display in Brazil should definitely watch him on English pitches. How well the Chilean attacking striker would do is yet to be seen but expect to be awed with some magical footwork.
