You might have heard a lot about Usain “Lightning” Bolt, but if you haven’t, get ready to know more about possibly the most incredible athlete out there. Standing at 6 feet 5 inches, Usain Bolt or the ‘Lightning Bolt” as he is famously called, is a professional sprinter best known for storming through the track events. Here’s more about the fastest man in the world.

Bolt won the Olympic gold for completing the 100m and 200m race in record times in Beijing, 2008. His team, Jamaica also finished first in the 4x100m relay. The remarkable ‘Gold’ feat was repeated in the 200m race at the London Olympics, 2012 and Bolt is the only athlete to do so.

2. Untied shoelaces and chicken nuggets helped Usain break the world record in 2008.

Interestingly, Bolt set a world record for the 100m race in Beijing of course by running faster than other competitors, but with a stomach full of chicken nuggets and his shoes untied for the entire run.
